CREATURES FROM THE ABYSS DVD (SHRIEK SHOW)
THE MOVIE: C
Five sex-crazed teens go on a raft ride off the coast of Maimi and run out of gas. Their raft soon starts to sink but in the distance the kids notice a yacht, but this isnt your normal yacht, its an Oceangraphic Research Lab. When the kids board the yacht they notice its empty with the exception of some frozen carnivorus fish and a substance which they believe is cocaine, but in reality its radioactive plankton. The kids take advantage of the situation and start to party down, with one of the kids taking some of the "cocaine". Pretty soon a couple of the kids mutate into killer fish, and some of the carnivorus fish escape. Can the kids make fish sticks out of theese mutant fish, or will they become fish-food themselves.

Creatures from The Abyss is a pretty cool Italian horror flick if you can make it past the extremly boring first half, but if you do your defintely in for a treat. The special effects are great, blending stop animation with puppetry effects. The plot is kinda out-there but totally works especially in the second half. If your into cheesy horror flicks you'll enjoy Creatures From The Abyss, just dont expect to much. Like I said the begining is extremly boring, but once things get going you'll be glad you sat through it all. But if your not into cheesy flicks dont waste your time or your money, I dont want any hate-mail.

Stills - There's 10 stills from the film.
Scene Access - 11 chapters
Scream Access - cool feature that leads you straight to the gore scenes in the film by clicking on peices of the cover artwork.

OVERALL:C
Creatures From The Abyss is a decent horror flick, even though the first half is extremly boring. If you can make it that far though your definately in for a treat, for cheesy movie fans only.
